Slow Cooker Creamy Ranch Pork Chops- only 6 ingredients needed to make this incredibly creamy and flavorful pork chop dinner.

Slow Cooker Creamy Ranch Pork Chops over noodles.

The pork chops cook up wonderfully tender. No need for a knife to eat them. Serve over egg noodles for an unbelievably delicious family meal.

I always make sure I have a few packets of Ranch seasoning in my pantry. They make quick and flavorful meals so easy.

How To Make Slow Cooker Creamy Ranch Pork Chops:

  • Spray the inside of a 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
  • Place the pork chops in the slow cooker.
  • Sprinkle with black pepper and Ranch seasoning.
  • Spread 2 cans of undiluted condensed cream of chicken soup over the pork chops.
  • Sprinkle with red pepper flakes if you want some heat. Leave them out if you don’t want the dish to be spicy.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours or on HIGH for 5 to 6 hours.
  • Remove the pork chops and place them on a platter. Skim off any grease from the sauce.
  • Place the sour cream in a medium bowl and whisk in 1 cup of hot liquid from the slow cooker. This will keep the sour cream from curdling. Add the mixture back to the slow cooker and whisk well. Pour sauce over pork chops.

How To Serve

Serve over white rice, mashed potatoes, or buttered noodles. Green peas or green beans make a great side along with Yeast Rolls.

Recipe Tips:

Thick pork chops with a bone are best for cooking in the crock pot. The thicker, the better. Thin, boneless pork chops have a tendency to get dried out. Thick, boneless pork chops can be used, but I find the bone adds flavor.

Instead of 2 cans of condensed cream of chicken soup, you can use 1 can of condensed cream of chicken soup and 1 can of condensed cream of mushroom soup.

The ranch seasoning and condensed soup have plenty of salt so there’s no need to season the pork chops with salt.

Is This Dish Spicy?

This dish has a little heat from 1/2 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes. Reduce the amount to 1/4 teaspoon for barely noticeable heat and increase to 1 teaspoon for substantial heat.

It was a very interesting and tasty dish. I thought it was amazing how you can take 2 cans of chicken cream soup without any liquid, making the sauce. The sour cream gives it an extra creamy favor, adding a cup (for me) was overwhelmingly creamy. I would try next time with 1/2 cup. I would recommend it to others because it was good, you can even add vegetables to it, making it in a creamy stew.

Fabulous recipe! Next time, I’ll add a little water, because there was very little liquid left in the pot. I cooked the chops on low for 7 hours, then for 1 hour on high. Then I turned off the crock off.

  3. Kristine says:

The noodles are just a suggestion of what to serve it with. They are cooked separately and added after the pork chops are done.

When do you add the noodles!

Tried it with pork chops and will try it with chicken thighs. Great taste and so easy.

  6. Sue Murray says:

Going to be making this one for sure. Maybe the one who found it too salty put too much salt in herself. You can also get the soup with less salt.
So looking forward to trying this next week.

This was really good. I put it over buttered noodles and the next day it was better than the first day.
