Chicken Alfredo Crescent Bake is a quick and easy meal with a buttery crescent crust and a creamy, cheesy alfredo chicken mixture baked on top. Very kid-friendly and easy to prepare.

Only takes about 10 minutes to prep and then about 18 minutes to bake.

Crescent Roll Recipes

I love using crescent roll dough to make all kinds of things. It is such a great kitchen short-cut. Some of my favorite recipes using crescent dough are Crescent Lasagna, Crescent Beef Burritos, Sausage and Crescent Roll Casserole, and Crescent Roll Coffee Cake. If you have an air fryer, these Buffalo Chicken Pinwheels are a must try.

Ingredients Needed

  • Diced Cooked Chicken– I use rotisserie chicken, but you can use any cooked chicken. This is a great recipe for using up leftover chicken. You could also use turkey instead of chicken.
  • Alfredo Sauce– I use a jarred alfredo sauce for convenience.
  • Basil Pesto– added for flavor. Use either homemade or store-bought.
  • Crushed Red Pepper Flakes– to add a little heat. Add half a teaspoon to make it fairly spicy, just a pinch if you don’t want it spicy.
  • Crescent Roll Dough– I prefer a crescent sheet, but you can use a tube of regular crescent roll dough and press on the perforations to seal.
  • Shredded Italian Cheese Blend– or you can use a combo of mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
  • Fresh Basil– adds lots of fresh flavor.

How To Make Chicken Alfredo Crescent Bake

  1. Stir together the chicken alfredo mixture ingredients.
  2. Unroll crescent dough and shape it to fit a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  3. Spread Alfredo mixture on top of dough. Sprinkle cheese on top.
  4. Bake. Sprinkle with basil and cut into squares.

How To Serve

Add a side salad with Creamy Italian Dressing and you have a full meal. So easy!!

Variations and Substitutions

  • Add a cup of steamed broccoli florets or asparagus.
  • Add a cup of mushrooms that have been sauteed in butter.
  • Leave the pesto out and use 1 teaspoon of dried Italian seasoning instead.
  • Add a little garlic powder to the Alfredo sauce.

Storage

Best eaten shortly after it is made, but leftovers will keep for 3 to 4 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Reheat in the oven or air fryer.
