Ingredients Needed For Slow Cooker Refried Bean Dip

  • Bacon Grease– I always save my bacon grease because it can be used in so many ways. If you don’t have any, leave it out.
  • Ground beef– can substitute chorizo.
  • Onion– yellow, sweet, or white.
  • Refried beans
  • Taco Seasoning– you will need 1 tablespoon. You can use homemade or store-bought.
  • Taco Sauce
  • Garlic Powder
  • American cheese– I use yellow. Velveeta cheese can be substituted.
  • Green Onion

Equipment Needed

  • Nonstick Skillet
  • 4-Quart Slow Cooker– I love the pretty red color this slow cooker has.

Make It Spicy

Add chopped pickled jalapenos or serve with Cholulu Hot Sauce.
