Easy Ham and Cheese Quiche is a rich and cheesy quiche that can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It’s perfect for using up leftover Easter ham.
I love making quiches. They are versatile, so easy to make, and great for using up leftovers.
If you find yourself with leftover holiday ham, this quiche takes just minutes to prep. I use a frozen pie shell to save time and make a quick pie filling with a little onion, some eggs, half-and-half, cheddar cheese, swiss cheese, and ham. You could use bacon instead of ham if you wanted to.
Pour the filling into the pie crust, pop it in the oven and 45 minutes later your quiche is ready.
Tastes great warm from the oven or after being chilled in the refrigerator.

Caramelized Onion and Bacon Quiche
Its 5:15 AM. I haven’t slept, because I wanted to make this for breakfast. And I’m smiling.
This is womderful. I ised heavy cream instead of half n half. It is so creamy and rich. It’s almost a shade too rich. It’s excellent but next time I think I’ll use half whole milk (hmm, half milk, half cream. Where have I heard of that before.
I just finished a. Piece and would love another, bit Im simply too full. Yes, with all the cream and butter added, it’s quite a filling dish.
Same here! We must have been cooking on the same day! I’m making another one today because family and I finished the other one already!
This is such an easy and delicious recipe! I was worried making quiche would be difficult and messy but it couldnโt have been easier. I substituted the ham for ground sausage (pre cooked) and omitted the onion because I didnโt have one but it still turned out fantastic. I will definitely be making it again soon ๐
I added an extra egg to the recipe. Used both Gouda and Cheddar cheese.
I followed the directions, but my quiche spilled over while baking. If I make it again, I may shorten the half&half, cheeses and ham by a 1/3. The deep dish was not large enough; BUT it was good!

Followed the recipe. Baked it 43 minutes. Turned out great!
Easy and delicious.
I baked 2 – 1 as a Christmas treat for an elderly friend – she said it was the best quiche she had ever tasted- her husband liked it and me and my husband did too. Great , easy recipe !
This looks like a great recipe! I’m planning to make this closer to Christmas. Wondering if these can be frozen and reheated and still be good?
I freeze my quiches uncooked then take one out and cook as needed so the crust stays crisp. I use frozen crusts, freeze flat then wrap in foil and place in freezer bag. I usually make up 6 at a time. Great to have on hand for a quick meal.
I do this too. This recipe fits into 2 regular pie crusts so I end up freezing 2. Makes for a quick meal later on.
Followed the directions and it was delicious!! Thank you for sharing:)
I make variations of this quiche all the time! I usually sautรฉ more veggies to add and the meat is optional. Its great for family events (my mom loves it) but also for meal planning (make it on Sunday and you have breakfasts all week).
