Easy Ham and Cheese Quiche- great way to use up leftover ham!

I love making quiches. They are versatile, so easy to make, and great for using up leftovers.

If you find yourself with leftover holiday ham, this quiche takes just minutes to prep. I use a frozen pie shell to save time and make a quick pie filling with a little onion, some eggs, half-and-half, cheddar cheese, swiss cheese, and ham. You could use bacon instead of ham if you wanted to.

Pour the filling into the pie crust, pop it in the oven and 45 minutes later your quiche is ready.

Tastes great warm from the oven or after being chilled in the refrigerator.

What do you mean when you say 1 cup half & half?

    1. James says:

Half and half is in the dairy section of the grocery store. It is in with like the coffee creamers etc. Half and half is the name of it. It is like half milk, half cream mixed together.

  4. M.B says:

This quiche was delicious except it was salty tasting the first time we ate it. I would omit the salt of the recipe the next time I make it. I made this with egg beaters instead of regular eggs and unsweetened almond milk instead of the Half and Half. It was excellent! Copying it for future usage!

  5. Gail says:

Made 2 at once with left over ham. Added red bell pepper from my garden & garlic. Otherwise followed directions & checked for doness with knife. Excellent.

  6. Peggy says:

I went easy on the chili flakes, heavy on the parmesan and added fresh spinach. Absolutely delicious!!!

  8. KLea says:

I’ve made this several times and always a hit (work breakfasts, family brunch, etc.) I don’t eat pork so sub honey smoked turkey breast and less onion. I use refrigerated pie crust and works great.

    1. Colleen says:

Do you cook your refrigerated crust first?

  9. Holly C. says:

Easy and delicious. I added onion and garlic powders, and 1T. hot sauce to the egg mixture before baking.

  10. CDT says:

Do you let the pie crust unthaw before baking?

    1. Bev says:

If it is frozen & pierce with fork on bottom & bake for about 10 minutes before adding filling.
