Fireball Graham Cracker Candy is a sweet, crunchy treat with a little kick from Fireball Cinnamon Whisky. This easy candy recipe combines graham crackers, butter, brown sugar and pecans to make a crunchy caramelized snack that tastes like toffee.

It’s a spicy/sweet treat that’s perfect for a Holiday gathering or for when you want a sweet treat with some spice. It’s very similar to my uber popular Bourbon Graham Cracker Candy Recipe.

Ingredients Needed

  • 15 Graham Crackers– I use plain graham crackers, but you could use cinnamon/sugar for even more cinnamon flavor.
  • Butter– I use salted butter because I like a fair amount of saltiness in my sweets. If you prefer less saltiness, use unsalted butter.
  • Light Brown Sugar– Dark Brown Sugar can be used instead.
  • Fireball Whiskey– 3 tablespoons adds a little spicy kick and some cinnamon flavor.
  • Chopped Pecans– my very favorite nut!

How To Make Fireball Graham Cracker Candy

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the Graham Cracker Layer. Arrange the graham crackers in a single layer on the parchment paper. You may need to break some of the graham crackers to fit. You want to cover as much of the bottom as possible, but a few gaps are fine.
  3. Make the Fireball Sauce. Using a medium saucepan with a heavy bottom, melt the butter, brown sugar, and salt. Bring to a rolling boil, remove from heat and stir in Fireball.
  4. Add pecans. Sprinkle the pecans evenly over the graham crackers.
  5. Pour on the Fireball Sauce. Pour the Fireball mixture over the graham crackers, trying to get as even coverage as possible.
  6. Bake. Bake for 10 minutes or until turning golden.
  7. Cool and break into pieces.

Variations

  • Sprinkle on a few mini chocolate chips right when it comes out of the oven.
  • Walnuts can be used instead of pecans.
  • Saltine crackers or Club crackers can be used instead of graham crackers.
  • Make it spicier with a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, leave the bourbon out and add half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon and a pinch of cayenne pepper.
