Reindeer Crunch is a salty/sweet snack full of holiday cheer. Great for parties and snacking. Full of cereal, pretzels, nuts, and M&Ms all coated in white chocolate.

Wonderfully crunchy and perfectly addicting. It’s a great snack for Christmas Eve or a Holiday Party and also makes a fun stocking stuffer.

Ingredients

  • Rice or Corn Chex
  • Cheerios
  • Salted Peanuts
  • Mini Pretzels
  • Bugles– can be hard to find, but I really like them in this recipe. Note: I usually find them at gas stations.
  • M&M Candies– I like to use just red and green which you can usually find easily around the holidays or you can order them online.
  • White Chocolate Chips
  • Shortening– coconut oil can be substituted for shortening.

Additional Ingredients That Work Well

  • Mixed Nuts
  • Popcorn
  • Holiday Sprinkles

How To Make Reindeer Crunch

  1. Mix together the dry ingredients. Combine Chex cereal, Cheerios, mini pretzels, Bugles, M&Ms, and nuts in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Melt the chocolate. In a medium mixing bowl, microwave the white chocolate chips and shortening or coconut oil at 20 second intervals until melted. Stirring after each one.
  3. Combine. Pour the melted chocolate over the chex mixture. Use a rubber spatula to gently mix until evenly combined.
  4. Let set. Spread mixture out on a rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Serve. Once fully cooled and set, break it into clusters and serve or store in an airtight container.

Recipe Tips

You don’t have to use all the ingredients listed, but you want about 10 cups of dry ingredients. So increase the amounts of the ones you do use if you leave some out.

Use good quality white chocolate, like Ghiradelli. Sometimes the cheaper ones do not melt well.

Storage

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 7 days.

I didnt have a lot of clusters in mine after it dried. is it because i used a bit less white chocolate than the recipe called for?

This is so good and additive. If I canโ€™t find Bugels, Iโ€™ve used Fritos Corn chips and itโ€™s just as great.
