Roasted Green Beans

Roasting green beans is one of my favorite ways to cook them. They get a little charred on the outside and their sweetness is enhanced.

Type Of Sun-Dried Tomatoes To Use

You want to use sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil. I buy slivered sun-dried tomatoes and chop them up a little more. The sun-dried tomatoes add a wonderful savory sweetness to this elegant side dish.

How Long To Roast Green Beans

Green beans should be done in about 15 minutes. They will be tender but still have plenty of texture and just a slight crunch. If you want them even softer you can roast them an additional 5 minutes.
