Nutella Mousse- this is one of the easiest and most delicious recipes ever. And if you love Nutella as much as I do, you will not want to share your mousse. It is insanely rich and creamy with tons of chocolate-hazelnut flavor.

Only 4 Ingredients Needed
This is such a simple recipe. You only need heavy cream, sugar, mascarpone cheese, and Nutella to make the mousse. For serving I like to top it with a little Cool Whip and a Ferrero Rocher Chocolate but they are optional.

Mascarpone Cheese
Fresh whipped cream combined with mascarpone cheese creates the most wonderfully creamy and rich texture and flavor. Add in some Nutella and it is unbelievably delicious. In my opinion, mascarpone cheese is not used nearly enough in recipes. It adds flavor and richness to so many things besides Tiramisu.

Tips For Whipping Cream
To successfully whip cream it helps to start with very cold heavy cream and a cold bowl and beaters. I place the bowl I am going to use and the beaters in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Use an Electric Stand Mixer or a Hand-Held Electric Mixer. If necessary, you can whip it the old-fashioned way- with a whisk. If using a stand mixer, use the whisk attachment.
Start beating the cream on low speed until it starts to thicken and then increase to high speed. If you start out on high speed, you will make a mess. Beat until stiff peaks form but be careful not to overbeat. It will start to look curdled.
Make At Least 2 Hours In Advance
The mousse needs time to chill and get really cold before serving.
Storage
Can be stored for 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator. Cover tightly with plastic wrap.

Nutella Mousse

- 1 cup cold heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 8 ounces mascarpone cheese,, softened
- ¾ cup Nutella
- Cool Whip and Ferrero Rocher Chocolates
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, use a hand-held electric mixer to beat heavy cream and sugar until stiff peaks form.
- In a separate mixing bowl, use hand-held electric mixer to beat mascarpone cheese and Nutella until smooth.
- Add Nutella mixture to heavy cream and beat with mixer on low just until combined. Note: Once it is somewhat incorporated, it is easier to use a rubber spatula to gently mix it until completely mixed.
- Transfer to serving bowls and cover with plastic wrap. Chill for at least 2 hours.
- To serve top with Cool Whip and a Ferrero Rocher.
