Honey Pecan Pork Chops are coated in flour and pan-fried, then topped with a simple glaze of honey and pecans with a little chicken broth to thin the glaze, some Worcestershire sauce for flavor, plus a touch of cayenne pepper to balance the sweetness of the honey with a little heat. They can be on the table in under 20 minutes!
Pork chops are one of my favorite thngs to cook for dinner and I love a good roast pork chop recipe.
This recipe is easy enough to make for a weeknight meal, but impressive enough to serve for guests.
How To Serve
You could serve these Honey Pecan Pork Chops over rice to soak up the extra glaze and a side of green beans would be perfect.
These Honey Pecan Pork Chops are sweet without being too sweet and I love the wonderful buttery crunch of the pecans.

Type Of Pork Chops To Use
I use boneless pork chops for this recipe. They tend to be very lean. Look for pork chops that have some fat marbling. The fat will keep them juicier and more flavorful. I prefer thicker cut pork chops. Thin pork chops are hard not to overcook and dry out.
Can I Use Bone-In Pork Chops?
Yes, if you prefer you can use bone-in pork chops. You will need to cook them slightly longer.
Why Are My Pork Chops Dry and Tough?
Overcooking pork can make it dry and tough. Be sure not to overcook the chops. It helps to use an instant-read thermometer. Pork is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F.
Variations and Substitutions
- Try using boneless chicken breasts in place of pork chops.
- Double the amount of cayenne pepper to ake it spicier or use Hot Honey.

This recipe was very good and I’ll continue using it. I was looking for something new for pork chops and this recipe is so simple, different, yet yummy. It’s good enough to serve to company and the pecan sauce on top makes for a great presentation. I suggest each chef make exactly by the recipe and next time adjust spices (cayenne, Worcestershire sauce, or additions). I did use seasoned salt and my browning of chops was perfect due to the butter. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
These were AMAZING! Myself my husband and my dad loved them. We had thick butcher fresh pork chops so we finished them quickly on the grill. The sauce was an instant hit. Dad is diabetic so this meal is very friendly being so low in carbs with only a little honey. Paired with garden fresh roasted veggies and everyone left the table full! Will definitely become part of the rotation.
I loved this. My husband didn’t love the nuts but I did. My pork chops were pretty thick so frying in the pan per the recipe directions did not cook them. Had to bake in oven for about 30 minutes to cook the middle.
The glaze is so easy and good!
Look so yummy! cant wait to make this tonight!
