Easy Ham and Cheese Quiche- great way to use up leftover ham!

I love making quiches. They are versatile, so easy to make, and great for using up leftovers.

If you find yourself with leftover holiday ham, this quiche takes just minutes to prep. I use a frozen pie shell to save time and make a quick pie filling with a little onion, some eggs, half-and-half, cheddar cheese, swiss cheese, and ham. You could use bacon instead of ham if you wanted to.

Pour the filling into the pie crust, pop it in the oven and 45 minutes later your quiche is ready.

Tastes great warm from the oven or after being chilled in the refrigerator.

Turned out great. I used different cheeses and added peppers. Honestly you can put anything you want in it. The frozen crusts worked like a charm!

Wonderful recipe! My family loves this quiche.

  4. Deb says:

This quiche is spot on! This recipe is so spot on that adding a fraction more of the ingredients is too much for the shell. (I had sharp cheddar on hand & used it instead. It was fine.)
This one is perfect to make for other people.

This was my first time making a quiche. I wanted to use up ham left over from Christmas, so I thought I would try this. It was simple and delicious. My husband commented how good it was.

So bummed. Still runny throughout. Followed instructions exactly.

        Hi Michelle,
Try it again:) I have a suggestion for you. Mix all ingredients except eggs, butter, half&half. Put the mixture in first by the heeps & pat it down (I didn’t cook my onion). Add your eggs, butter, half&half until it barely touches the top edge of pie shell. This may help.

Oh man, this quiche was so good! The recipe was easy and ingredients were simple. I made two with my leftover Christmas ham. Iโ€™m looking forward to freezing one quiche to enjoy at a later date.
