These Stuffing Coated Pork Chops are my favorite way to eat pork chops this time of year. As Thanksgiving approaches, I crave the taste of my favorite Thanksgiving food, stuffing.

These boneless pork chops are coated in egg and then a nice thick coating of Stovetop Stuffing Mix. You can use any flavor of Stovetop: chicken, pork, or turkey.
They are baked in the oven in a baking dish coated with melted butter until golden and crispy and a little crunchy. The stuffing mix already has tons of seasonings so these pork chops are really full of flavor.
How Long To Bake Pork Chops
Cooking time will vary based on the thickness and size of your pork chops. Ten to 12 minutes per side should be good for medium-thickness pork chops. If pork chops are bone-in, they take slightly longer to cook. For best results, use an instant read thermometer. Pork chops are done when they reach an internal temperature of 145 degrees F. Overcooked pork chops are dry and chewy so be careful not to overcook them.
Recipe Tip
You can use the stuffing mix as is, which is what I did, or grind it in the food processor to break it up some, or place it in a plastic storage bag and crush it with a rolling pin.
I like to serve these Stuffing coated Pork Chops with mashed potatoes and green beans and make a little country gravy to pour over the pork chops.

Did you just use the stuffing from the box of Stove Top? What about the seasoning package that comes with it? Is that used as well?
Big hit at our house!
Awesome
My mother used to make us this back in the 50’s and 60’s and it is the same recipe . These are really good and great with biscuits AND GRAVY .
This is a keeper for sure! Shout out to the person who suggested bacon grease…oh my goodness! They were so flavorful they didn’t even need gravy. Served it with a side of green beans and Creamy Garlic Shells recipe from Iowa Girl Eats. Made for an awesome Sunday dinner. My chops needed a little longer cooking time than the recipe stated, but they were also pretty cold right out of the fridge. Next time I’ll let them sit on the counter to take the chill off while I’m prepping all the ingredients.
Iโm new to cooking sorry if this is a dumb question but should I thaw my frozen pork chops first or can they go straight from freezer to pan?
I recommend thawing them in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
Made this tonight and will definitely make again. This one is a keeper๐
Amazing! I used Stove Top Herb Stuffing, it was so good. Thank you!
Sounds delicious! Going use stove top Herb stuffing.
I have been doing this for years, but I use Pepperidge Farm cornbread stuffing and substitute bacon grease for the egg to dip them in! You are right; it is absolutely delicious!
