Easy Prep

Ingredients Needed For Slow Cooker Hot Honey Chicken
- 6 to 8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs. You can use bone-in if you wish. The bones can easily be removed and discarded at the end of cooking. Chicken breasts can be used instead, but they will not be as tender and juicy and flavorful. Also, keep in mind that chicken breasts take a little less time to cook.
- Cayenne Pepper– use more or less depending on how spicy you want it.
- Smoked Paprika and regular Paprika– add flavor and a beautiful red color.
- Garlic Powder– you can substitute 2 minced garlic cloves.
- Salt and Pepper
- Ketchup
- Honey
- Cornstarch– to thicken the sauce.
How Spicy Is This Recipe?

Are you sure about 2 to 3 teaspoons of cayenne? I’m aregular user of cayenne as well as other types of chili peppers. I like it spicy but, even for me, that sounds like a lot!
