My very favorite sandwich gets turned into a warm, creamy, and cheesy dip in this Crock Pot Reuben Dip recipe. It’s the perfect appetizer for game day or any party. Since it is cooked in a crock pot you can just leave it in the crock pot to stay warm. So convenient.

Ingredients Needed

Only a few ingredients are needed to make this delectable Reuben Dip: a block of cream cheese, some mayonnaise, shredded swiss cheese, chopped corned beef, sauerkraut, Thousand Island dressing, and a splash of Worcestershire sauce.

Honestly, I think my favorite part of a Reuben sandwich is the Thousand Island or Russian Dressing. I love the sweetness with the tang of the sauerkraut.

If I see a Reuben on a menu with mustard instead, it’s a total deal breaker.

My next favorite thing about a Reuben is the gooey Swiss cheese and there’s plenty of it in this Reuben Dip recipe. Combined with cream cheese and mayonnaise, it makes this dip supremely rich.

Slow Cooker Reuben Dip Recipe Tips:

You can use deli-sliced corned beef or leftover homemade corned beef.

Pastrami can be used in place of corned beef.

Be sure to squeeze the sauerkraut well to get rid of the excess liquid.

How To Bake In An Oven

If you don’t want to make this dip in a slow cooker, place it in a baking dish and bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 minutes ot until hot throughout.

How To Store

Leftovers will keep for about 4 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Leftovers taste great on a baked potato!

A creamy and rich dip that tastes just like a Reuben sandwich. Lots of corned beef, sauerkraut, and swiss cheese. Serve with toasted mini Rye bread, crackers, pita chips, vegetable sticks or even pretzel rods.

This is a great dip. Friends devour it when I bring it to parties. I usually put it in the oven instead of the crock pot on 350 for about 25-35 minutes. I like when it gets all crusty and brown on the edges and it is still good when it cools down. Also, I like using even more sauerkraut and ours because we love it! And lots of caraway seed

Hi there! Wondering if you’ve experienced your cheese separating and becoming oily in the crock pot? I had this happen, and it kind of took the joy out of the dip (but not the flavor or the taste). I used a 2-quart crock pot, which only has a high/low setting, and am guessing that if I could have put it on the warm setting, once everything had warmed through, then this might not have happened. Any experience/advice? Thanks!

I feel that the oil comes from the thousand island. You can always just skim it off😁

    2. Jen says:

The oil is likely from overcooking with mayo in the recipe. Be sure to not leave it cook too long!

  7. Karen says:

Have you ever assembled all the ingredients the day before, refrigerate overnight, and heat/cook the next day?

I know… how rude, right? It is called politeness, manners and etiquette. Guess what? Manners are free and cost nothing… this is exactly what I teach my students about manners and how they are FREE! I actually used this mean person’s post or response as a teaching lesson for miserable people with horrible manners and what NOT to do when responding to people in these types of forums…Miss Rudeness claims people are sad or pathetic but the reality is folks it is her who is very sad and pathetic! Please be happy and chipper rude lady! I am making the dip for New Year’s Eve, it sounds awesome!
