Crunchy Honey Garlic Pork Chops

In addition to lots of sweetness from honey and brown sugar, the glaze also has some saltiness from soy sauce and some heat from cayenne pepper. Plus a little ground ginger for added flavor.

For a crispy coating, the pork chops first get pan-fried and then baked in the honey glaze.

I gave this one a shot last night….wow. i used chops i cut from a pork loin instead of regular boneless chops, and they worked pretty good. But the glaze was to die for. The one drawback was way too much glaze left over. I would cut the amounts in half, especially with the cost of honey.
    This one is a keeper.

what do you think would be a good side dish to go with this besides rice?

Can this be made in an air fryer? That’s a lot of oil to use and my diet won’t allow it.

Hi lisa! You can try following this mixture: 1-1/2 tablespoons vegetable oil mixed with 1-1/2 tablespoons water and 1 teaspoon baking powder perย egg. Note: this mixture calls for baking powder, not baking soda.

This looks amazing! Iโ€™m allergic to eggs and shy away from breading things because of that. Is there something I can use as a substitute for the eggs when dipping? Thanks!
