Ingredients Needed For BBQ Bacon Jalapenos

  • Cream Cheese– softened.
  • BBQ Sauce– use your favorite. I like a sweet and tangy sauce like KC Masterpiece or Sweet Baby Ray’s.
  • Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese– for best flavor shred your own cheese instead of buying pre-shredded.
  • Jalapeno Peppers– try to buy large jalapenos all about the same size.
  • Cooked and Crumbled Bacon

BBQ Sauce Adds Extra Flavor

I love the smoky sweetness BQQ sauce adds to these stuffed jalapenos. It gets mixed into the cream cheese and drizzled on top for lots of flavor. You can drizzle as little or as much as you like, depending on your tastes.

Working With Jalapenos

Be sure to wash your hands really well after cutting the jalapenos. You don’t want to rub even a trace amount of jalapeno juice into your eyes. To be extra safe, wear disposible gloves while you work with them.
