It’s an easy dump and go recipe that can be enjoyed year round. Slow cooker desserts are so simple to make. Scroll down for more recipes.

INGREDIENTS NEEDED:

  • Peach Pie Filling
  • Cream Cheese– be sure to let it get good and softened.
  • Brown Sugar– either light or brown. Granulated sugar can be substituted.
  • Vanilla extract– if you like almond extract, you can add 1/2 teaspoon of it too.
  • White Cake Mix– I like Betty Ctocker or Duncan Hines. Yellow, Butter, or Spice Cake mix can be used instead of white.
  • Butter– I prefer salted, but unsalted is fine too.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED:

  • 6-Quart Slow Cooker
  • Hand-Held Electric Mixer– if you don’t have an electric mixer, you can get away with mixing the cream cheese and sugar together with a wooden spoon.

RECIPE TIPS:

Slow cooker cooking times can really vary. Some run hot and others cook at a cooler temperature. Use the cooking time as an estimate. Your slow cooker could take longer than the suggested cooking time or it could cook it faster.

The edges may start to get too done before the center is cooked to your liking. Give it a stir and then check it again in 20 minutes.

This is a gooey cake. The middle won’t completely set, but there shouldn’t be any parts that look like raw dough.

For a little added crunch, try sprinkling 1/2 cup of chopped pecans, walnuts, or almonds on top.

Hi Christin. Love your recipes. Every one I’ve tried has been on point delicious. This cake looks really good but I’m wondering if it could be made in a 9 by 13 in the oven using time and temperature found on similar oven dump cake recipes? Always excited to see a new recipe from you in my inbox.
