White Chocolate Haystacks are crunchy, salty and sweet. Chow mein noodles and a few chopped peanuts are coated in white chocolate and decorated with festive sprinkles. Kids will love to help make these and they are always a welcome addition to a holiday cookie tray.
These White Chocolate Haystacks freeze well making them a great make ahead treat for the holidays.
White Chocolate Haystacks are one of my favorite no-bake holiday treats along with these Cream Cheese Mints. They keep for a long time so they are great for goft giving. It’s so nice to keep things simple around the holidays and it doesn’t get any simpler or easier than a 4 ingredient holiday treat!
What You Will Need:
- Wax paper or parchment paper
- 16-ounce package of white chocolate bark
- 1 cup chopped salted peanuts
- 3 to 4 cups of chow mein noodles
- Red and green sprinkles
White Chocolate Haystacks Recipe Tips:
If someone in your household has a peanut allergy, leave them out or use almonds or pecans instead.
Two cups of white chocolate chips can be used instead of the chocolate bark, but I find the bark melts more easily and is easier to work with.
These haystacks are easy to customize for any holiday by changing the color of the sprinkles.

In canada we do not have almond bark at least not at our Bulk Store so they recommended white Belgian waffle chocolate which cost me over $20.00 for this recipe. I measured everything perfectly but they turned out blah tasting and the chocolate was not enough.
Move quickly when making these. They set up faster than the haystack made with milk chocolate. I also used double the amount of white chocolate chips, 4 cups instead of 2 , and they still could have used more.
We made the white chocolate haystack , they are delicious ๐
A fun & easy dessert to make especially with young kids.
I use potato sticks, because can’t find chow mien noodles. Amazing
Can you use dark chocolate instead of white chocolate?
If you like butterscotch use these chips same as the chocolate bark or any of the other flavored chips for a change.
That’s looks so nice and i love that
This is a great idea for a Christmas candy, but you can’t find these damn chow mein noodles anywhere in the stores. It’s like the companies stopped making these noodles. WTH!!
Found them in the Asian food section at Ingles. They are in a bag.
Walmart carries the Chow Mein Noodles
