Pineapple Pretzel Fluff is so cool and creamy with salty, crunchy bits of pretzel mixed in. It is the ultimate sweet and salty treat.
This is a really easy recipe to make for a potluck, picnic, or cookout. It can be served as a dessert or a sweet side dish. Everyone will ask you for the recipe.
The pretzel pieces are what make this fluff dessert so divine. They are baked with lots of butter and sugar. You get buttery, salty, and sweet in every bite.
How To Make Pineapple Pretzel Fluff:
- Stir together the pretzel pieces, melted butter, and 1/2 cup of sugar. Bake in a 400 degree oven for about 7 minutes. Let cool and then break apart into pieces.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and remaining 1/2 cup of sugar until smooth and creamy. Fold in a drained can of crushed pineapple and a 12-ounce container of Cool Whip. Refrigerate for at least an hour.
- Mix the pretzel pieces in just before serving so that they stay crunchy.
Tips For Making:
- 12 ouce containers of Cool Whip can be hard to find. You can use one full 8-ounce container plus half of a second 8-ounce container. Or buy a 16-ounce container and use 3/4 of it.
- Mix the pretzel pieces in last minute to keep them crisp and crunchy. If you have leftovers, the pretzel pieces will get a little soft, but it will still taste really good.

Delicious! it’s really amazing recipe. I’ll definitely try this one. Keep sharing such type of recipe
This fluff dessert is so delicious and a clear winner among our guests!
The only thing I would mention, as did another commenter, was that the sugar-butter mixture for the pretzels seems WAY OFF. When I was sizing this up I opted to double the pretzels and use the recipe measurements for sugar-butter and they were still swiiming in too much liquid and in this case more is not better as they won’t crisp up as nicely with too much.
I think this could be achieved with 2 cups pretzel piecs and 1/4 each butter and sugar. Thoughts?
I agree!
It sounds tasty. Simply Loved this recipe. I will give 10 out of 10 for this recipe. Thanks for sharing useful content.
I recommend trying this recipe, as it made a tasty treat. This is something I’ll be making again. thanks, a lot for sharing.
This was soooo delicious. Made it for a cookout and it was gone in minutes. Everyone asked for the recipe. So easy and such a nice light summer dessert! Will be making this often.
I was so excited to make this for Easter. After making the pretzel mix, I realized that there was way too much butter and sugar. I sorted out pretzel pieces so I didn’t have all the clumps of sugar and butter. I did not add the sugar to the cream cheese/pineapple mixture and didn’t see any reason to open another carton of Cool Whip just for two ounces so I only used one. The fluff mixture tastes perfectly fine to me.
Therefore, if you want such a sweet and fatty dish, use the original recipe. It’s interesting to see so many of you who love it the way it is.
I want the sweet and fatty dish please ๐๐ค
