What Type Of Little Smokies To Use?

There are a variety of little smokies available. You can find both beef and pork little smokies at any grocery store. Either one and any brand will work for this recipe. They are also refered to as cocktail wieners or cocktail sausages.

Equipment Needed

Recipe Tips

If not spicy enough, add a pinch or two of cayenne pepper.

This recipe can easily be doubled or tripled to feed a crowd

If you double the recipe, use a 6-quart slow cooker instead of a 4-quart slow cooker.

How To Serve

You don’t even have to transfer these Bourbon Smokies to a bowl. The best way to serve them is right out of the slow cooker so they stay warm. Just put out some toothpicks next to the slow cooker.
