Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Popper Chicken is a low carb meal that’s packed full of flavor. Boneless chicken breasts are slathered with cream cheese, jalapenos, and shredded cheese and then rolled up, wrapped in bacon and baked. Then they are broiled until the bacon is crispy. So much salty, spicy, creamy goodenss!
How To Make Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Chicken:
Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Popper Chicken works best if you use a thin piece of chicken breast. I cut each chicken breast in half horizontally to form 2 thin pieces and then I flatten them some. To do this, wrap each piece loosely in plastic wrap and use a meat mallet or rolling pin to flatten them out a bit.
The chicken gets sprinkled with seasoned salt and then covered with a chive whipped cream cheese. Sprinkle with some jalapenos and cheddar cheese. Roll the chicken up, wrap two pieces of bacon around each piece. Secure the bacon with toothpicks and place in a baking dish. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Then broil on each side until the bacon crisps up and gets golden.
Recipe Tips:
Any flavor of whipped cream cheese can be used.
If you want your chicken to be extra spicy, double the amount of jalapeno.
Be sure to use a broiler-safe baking dish.

Served as a Christmas appetizer. It was very good. I needed to bake it longer to get a crunchy bacon and it dried it out a bit but suspect if I had switched to broil for a few minutes at the original cooking end, it would have worked better. Might also try it on a rack as juices may have also caused the delay in browning the bacon. Still – very good and it disappeared fast at our get together.
It was an amazing recipe. Everyone just loved it. Thank you ๐๐
Delicious and super easy to make BUT cream cheese melted out of the โpackageโ. Will try it again next month. Will probably add this recipe as my monthly dinner option.

My family loved this chicken. I did omit the shredded cheese to save some calories and it still tasted great. We love spicy chicken so I added a chopped habanero pepper to the bbq sauce. Thanks for the recipe.
Can you substitute the BS breast for BS thighs?
Well this sounds fabulous! I love jalapeรฑo poppers so with chicken this has to be so tasty! Iโve never heard of the cream cheese thatโs flavored. good to know about it!
This sounds delicious, but I can’t get my head around what to make with it. Beans and cornbread? Maybe a good tater recipe? My guys are meat and taters kind of fellas, I mean they will eat rice and pasta but my brain is saying beans and taters here. What do you make with it normally please?
