Hidden Valley® Original Ranch has been a favorite of mine both as a salad dressing and a recipe ingredient. And now it is available in 4 new flavors at Walmart: Hidden Valley® Ranch Buffalo, Hidden Valley® Ranch Honey BBQ, Hidden Valley® Ranch Sriracha, and Hidden Valley® Ranch Cilantro Lime.

Hidden Valley® Ranch BBQ Honey is like a blend of Ranch dressing and BBQ sauce and since we are obsessed with BBQ sauce in my family we are loving this new dressing. It is fabulously sweet and tangy with lots of smoky flavor and it would be incredible on a chicken wrap or southwestern salad.

  1. Looks really delicious plus it looks really easy and quick to make. This is going to be perfect for summer. Thank you for sharing this recipe 🙂

  2. Have made this a few times. It is very filling and serves my husband and myself as a main course for two or three days. Good way to clean out fridge and freezer as well. Will continue to make. Now I just need dinner guests again!

  3. If you google Hidden Valley Honey BBQ sauce , the Hidden Valley website has the recipe for the BBQ sauce! I have made it a couple of times and it’s a huge hit with my family!! Yummy!!

  4. Hidden Valley no longer makes BBQ Ranch Dressing so I mixed Hidden Valley Ranch Buttermilk Salad Dressing with my favorite bottled Honey BBQ sauce and it was great! Also, instead of regular corn chips I used Chili Cheese Corn Chips.

  5. Loved this! Next time I will add the entire onion and red bell pepper. Also, I will get the chili cheese Fritos instead of plain. Yum 😋

  6. This looks amazing! I’m sure everyone would love it at my beat friends wedding coming up that we’re cooking for! Can’t wait to try it out and show the bride❤️

    1. Did you try make this in advance? I would love to take to eat throughout the weekend at our lake place

  7. I thought this dish looked really weird and was hesitant about trying it – But I’m sure glad I did – delicious!! Everyone really like it! I would definitely make it again!

  8. I made this last year for a Memorial day weekend block party. First of all my teenage son is not big on any kind of salad, nor dressings. He loved it when he tried it. Asked if we brought any home. Recently he asked me if I was going to “make that salad” again. I’m making it again this year for our block party.

    1. After reading this comment I made it for my teenage boys and they raved about it. Even my husband loves it!

  9. Can’t find the Hidden Valley Ranch Honey BBQ sauce in Harris Teeter, Publix nor Walmart grocery here in the Triangle area of NC.

      1. I did that and it came out great. I actually forgot to get cilantro and realized I had cilantro lime ranch dressing so I mixed it with some honey bbq sauce. Delicious! Thanks for the recipe.

  10. I was looking for a last minute side dish to take to a BBQ and came across this. I am so glad I decided to give this a try. It was amazing and everyone devoured it!!

  11. I have three kids between 9-13. My youngest is extremely picky. She ate this and asked for more! I was impressed since she doesn’t like peppers nor beans! This has become one of my family’s favorites. the only thing I do differently is I use a 1 1/2 tsp of onion powder instead of onion, since I don’t like raw onion.

  12. This recipe is a HUGE hit!! I sauté my chicken with a dry rub of chili powder, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. The seasoning on the chicken going into the salad adds a really nice smoky flavor. If I have a little bit of the seasoning left after prepping the chicken I add it into the dressing. Also, my store doesn’t sell this dressing so I use 1/4c BBQ sauce + 3/4c ranch. We take this to every potluck now and it’s always the first to go!

  13. I make this with chopped romaine (about 6 cups). shredded roasted chicken breasts, diced fresh tomato and sliced black olives. Combine equal parts of bbq sauce and ranch dressing instead of buying a seperate dressing and it is delish!!

  14. This looks delicious!! I wouldn’t use the GMO-laden salad dressing though, just saying. But, I could come up with my own organic version…thanks for sharing ! Will give this a try!!

  15. I made this last night and used plain Greek yogurt in place of the sour cream and it was great! The Honey BBQ Ranch dressing is some gooooood stuff. Thank you for sharing this.

  16. BBQ ranch salads are my absolute favorite, so I love that you took this one step further by adding some pasta. I’ve never tried that dressing before, so I’ll be on the lookout for it. Such a great dish for spring, Christin!
