Grilled Teriyaki Shrimp with Asian Slaw makes a flavorful, light meal that’s perfect for grilling season. This easy meal is ready in about 20 minutes. Chunks of fresh pineapple are threaded onto skewers with shrimp that has been marinated in Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce. They grill up in just minutes and taste so good when served over a slaw made from Napa cabbage, carrots and green onions tossed with a simple, Asian-flavored dressing.
Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce is a blend of traditionally brewed soy sauce, wine, and spices. With its depth of flavor, it makes the perfect marinade or brush-on sauce. Use it to flavor up chicken, beef, pork, or seafood. I find Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce has just the right blend of sweet and salty, making it just the thing to add Asian flavor to your weeknight meals.
When summertime arrives, I use my grill as much as possible. Not only do I enjoy being outside during the warmer months, I love not having to heat up my kitchen. Shrimp are perfect for making a quick and easy weeknight meal. I love that they only take a few minutes to cook.
Marinating the shrimp in Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce gives them plenty of flavor and they only need to marinate for about 5 to 10 minutes. I let them marinate while the grill heats up. I thread the shrimp on wooden skewers (that have been soaked in water) along with some fresh pineapple chunks. The flavor of the pineapple is the perfect match for both shrimp and teriyaki sauce. I baste a little more Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce on the shrimp while they grill. I love that it serves double duty both as a marinade and sauce. You could serve Grilled Teriyaki Shrimp over rice, but I really enjoy it over Asian slaw. To make a quick Asian Slaw, I combined shredded Napa cabbage, pre-shredded carrots, and green onion with a dressing made from mayonnaise, Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and Sriracha sauce.
Grilled Teriyaki Shrimp with Asian Slaw is a flavorful, light meal you’ll enjoy grilling all summer long.

I like to use Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade on chicken and then cook the chicken on our grill. Thanks so much.
Pouring this over chicken and veggies sounds so good right now!

I would add the sauce to chicken stir fry.
This looks amazing. I just saw a bunch of pineapples at Trader Joe’s this morning and wish I’d gotten some because we’re grilling this weekend! I am definitely inspired. And I like to use the ready-made sauce for pork tenderloin and other protein – quick and easy! : )

We make a simple stir-fry with chicken or shrimp, cabbage, carrots, and rice.
