With this simple Spicy Tomato Cream Pasta Sauce, you can have a delicious meal on the table in just a matter of minutes. It involves adding a few ingredients to your favorite spaghetti sauce to turn it into creamy, spicy heaven. Toss it in with some angel hair pasta which I love because it cooks up so fast.

Spicy Tomato Cream Pasta

There’s something about pasta sauces with cream that I can’t resist. I’m sure I’m not the only one. Penne alla Vodka? Yes please!

Spicy Tomato Cream Pasta

Tonight we are going to Mama Ricotta’s in Charlotte as an early birthday celebration for me. I always get the Penne alla Vodka with Sausage. Every time. It’s so comforting, with plenty of spice. If I’m being a good girl, I bring half of it home for lunch the next day.

Spicy Tomato Cream Pasta

When I want a creamy pasta at home, this Spicy Tomato Cream Pasta can’t be beat. It couldn’t be easier. Cook some diced onion and garlic in a little oil until sauce, add some cream, basil, and a jar of your favorite pasta sauce. Since I like some spice I add some red pepper flakes but you could leave them out. Add 1/4 teaspoon for a little spice and 1/2 teaspoon for a lot of heat. Let simmer until all the flavors come together. Toss it with some cooked pasta and you’re ready to eat.

A fast and flavorful Spicy Tomato Cream Pasta that's perfect for a weeknight meal. Red pepper flakes really give this sauce some heat.

I doubled the recipe and made it with 1lb ground beef and 1lb ground sweet sausage. Family loved it and I have hard to please kiddos. Winner! Thanks for the quick and easy recipe.

So quick and easy and absolutely delicious!! I decided at the last minute to make dinner, had all the ingredients in my house, and it was ready in 10-minutes. My husband especially loved the spiciness of it. Thank you for this wonderful recipe!! It will be a staple from now on.

So I’m only rating this now, but I’ve been making this for my family for a few years now. It’s our favorite go-to pasta recipe and all of the ingredients are now staples so that I can whip it up whenever I want. I usually go directly by the recipe because it always turns out great, but it’s a very forgiving recipe, and I’ve also thrown together kitchen sink versions on the fly.

My husband and I made this for our wedding buffet and it was amazing! We left out the red pepper flakes because I donโ€™t do heat. We had a lot of compliments on this dish. Our wedding is was on 11/08/15 and for our 6th wedding anniversary Iโ€™m going to make it again. Thanks for sharing this wonderful recipe

Kinda close to your recipe, but didn’t have heavy cream, so used couple tablespoons of cream cheese and milk. Added some diced tomatoes, and extra garlic. All in all, it was very good, and bf said it’s a winner after having 2 helpings!!

I love your idea of using cream cheese and milk I place of the cream. I donโ€™t keep cream on hand but usually have the other two. I will try your idea next time.I realize the taste will be a little different than using cream but weโ€™ll worth the try.
