I was looking for quick and easy recipes that contained sausage and came across this. The pic made it look delicious and it was!! Definitely a favorite recipe find on Pinterest! Highly recommended

  2. Roxanne Holloway says:

I used hot Italian turkey sausage. Otherwise followed the recipe. So good. I’m on my own so I cut the recipe in half approximately. Second serving I added rice which stretched it to 3 servings. One I added a slice of Provolone on top. Would be fabulous in a bun but very good without. Will make again.

  3. Jim says:

Sounds good but I’ll make my own sausage. Ground pork, salt, pepper fennel and red pepper. I’ll use virgin olive oil.

    1. Jeff says:

Jim – Your comment shows what a douchebag you are. Go ahead and make your own sausage, but you don’t need to tell everyone. You’re the worst.

      1. Libs says:

Jeff, really. He just said he’d make his own sausage. Your the pathetic one.

      2. Kelsey Ellis says:

Jeff, you’re the worst. Who made you so angry? Giving miserable, giving sad, giving pathetic and not demure.

  4. Diane says:

The sausage peppers and onions were absolutely delicious. Loved it. My husband loved it as well.

  5. Rose says:

I have made this recipe many times and just love it. Do you have a crockpot version?

  6. John Marshall (in the UK) says:

How many sausages. 1 Packet is insufficient info for those of us that cant get them. Just as easy to tell us how many sausages hence only 3*.

  7. Rebecca says:

My husband recently passed away, so I have not been in the mood for cooking. I saw your recipe and I felt invigorated to try it. Thank you for this EASY and TASTY, recipe. I made it for my family for dinner using some sweet Italian sausages I had in the freezer saved for the same old spaghetti meat sauce dinner, I’ve made over and over for the past 43 years. I was so proud of how it turned out, that I had to send photos to my sister who could not attend this year’s Italian festival in New York’s Little Italy. One package fed the three of us for two meals and we didn’t feel weighed down afterwards. It was Absolutely Delicious! Thank you! I’ve already made plans to bring some to summer gatherings instead of boring, plain old hotdogs. Thank you so much! GOD Bless.

    Excellent

  9. Elaine says:

Excellent! Easy to prepare, keto friendly. Great for leftovers too!

  10. Eric says:

Sounds good and something I’ll try with a couple mods, like true authentic Italian version, simply using more tomatoes etc, but I’d be making this with said exceptions as more of comfort food, like something out of a crock pot. A single dish recipe served in Soup/Pasta bowls along with fresh sliced French bread. Off the top of my head anyway.
