Sweetened Condensed Milk Chocolate Pie has an oreo crust and an easy 5-ingredient filling that’s fabulously creamy and full of chocolate flavor.

A can of sweetened condensed milk combined with a block of cream cheese, 2 eggs, a cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips, and a little vanilla extract makes a wonderfully dense and creamy filling.

There’s no need to pre-bake the crust. The filling can be made in just minutes and then the pie needs only about 30 minutes to bake.

Equipment Needed For This Recipe

  1. Food Processor– to crush the oreo cookies. Note: If you don’t have one, you can crush the oreos in a ziplock bag using a rolling pin.
  2. Hand-Held Electric Mixer– (or stand mixer) for mixing the filling.

Sweetened Condensed Pie Recipe Tips

  • For the oreo crust, there’s no need to remove the cream from the cookies.
  • To save time, buy a pre-made oreo crust.
  • You can use a graham cracker crust instead of an oreo crust.
  • Be sure to let the cream cheese sit out for a few hours to soften. Otherwise your filling will be lumpy.
  • You will need to let the pie cool completely before serving it or it will not hold its shape when you slice it. I like to refrigerate it before serving it and serve it cold.
  • Leftovers will keep in the refrigerator for about 4 days.
  • Tastes best with some whipped cream.

Well. Letโ€™s hope this turns out but I followed the directions exactly as written. The pie is in the oven now and it has poured all over the foil I placed it on. And pressed the crust all the way up the sides. And it is still spilling over.

This was the most rich, elegant chocolate pie I have ever made. I was simple to make and turned out perfect. I made it per the recipe, no changes needed. I will definitely be making itagain and again. If you are not a cream cheese fan I would stll try this recipe. I did not even taste the cream cheese. Wonderful pie!!

I’ve made this several times since I found it. Delicious big hit with friends and family. I use the ready made chocolate crust. Whip cream on top is a must.

I just made this using a reg Graham cracker crust and caramel sweetened condensed milk. Waiting for it to “cool” before refrigerating it. I did end up getting some cracks on the top. Hopefully it’s not over baked.

So good and so easy! I am not a cheesecake expert so this passed just fine. I used a premade nut crust instead of oreos and dark chips- I just donโ€™t like milk chocolate. The sweetened condensed milk gave it a little caramel undertone that my family loved. Looking forward to trying it as a base for flavors other than chocolate!

Great recipe! Everyone loves it; the family keeps stealing bites before service time. I made it the first time in a pie pan and had trouble packing down my crust, but I solved that the following THREE times by using my cupcake pans (with cute liners) and it makes 18 mini pies. An added bonus is when you take off the liners the sides have adorable ridges. Will keep making this…..

    1. Sarah says:

How long do you bake it using cupcake liners?

      1. Deb says:

Not sure where this went wrong, but I followed recipe exactly & my pie is thick, sticky & not a pleasant bite. Very disappointing!

  8. Marcia says:

Can you use a regular pie crust. If so do you need to blind bake it?

I have lost a recipe very similar to this but it had 2/3 cup peanut butter added as well. Not sure the same amts. cooking time, etc. Do you think it would work to add the peanut butter. Sounds great without it and have all ingredients so going to make it tomorrow.
