Slow Cooker Spicy Peach Glazed Pork Chops

Slow Cooker Spicy Peach Glazed Pork Chops are both sweet and spicy and cook up super tender in a crock pot. I like to serve them over rice to soak up the delicious sauce.

What is it about pork that makes it taste so good with fruit? Whether it be apples, strawberries, or peaches, I adore a fruit glaze or topping on pork.

Easy 5-Ingredient Sauce

Since these pork chops cook low and slow in the crockpot, the flavor of the sauce really penetrates them. It’s a sweet and spicy blend of peach preserves (you could use apricot instead), red pepper flakes, dried thyme, and soy sauce.

Browned Butter

But what really makes the sauce extra special and delicious is you begin the recipe by browning 6 tablespoons of butter. It doesn’t get much better than browned butter y’all!

Ingredient Notes

  • Butter- I use salted butter, If using unsalted, add about 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
  • Red Pepper Flakes- make the sauce a little spicy. Cut the amount in half for just a little heat.
  • Dried Thyme- 1 teaspoon of fresh thyme can be used instead or you can use rosemary if you prefer.
  • Peach Preserves- apricot preserves can be used instead.
  • Soy Sauce- can use Worcestershire sauce instead.
  • Boneless Pork Chops- I use thick-cut pork chops. You can use bone-in if you prefer.

Recipe Tip

Be careful not to overcook the pork or it will be dry and chewy. Pork is done when it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F. An instant-read thermometer is helpful for telling when it is done.

How To Store Slow Cooker Spicy Peach-Glazed Pork Chops

Leftovers will keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days and can be reheated in a microwave.
