unsweetened cocoa powder

cayenne pepper

Instructions
Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
Spray an 8-inch baking pan with cooking spray and then line the pan with parchment paper so that the edges extend up.
Melt chocolate and butter in a heavy-bottomed saucepan, stirring until smooth.
Remove saucepan from heat and whisk in both sugars.
Let cool for 5 minutes.
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, cayenne pepper, and salt. Set aside.
Whisk eggs and vanilla into chocolate mixture.
Stir in flour mixture.
Transfer batter to prepared baking dish.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes. Let cool before cutting into squares.
Notes
Add a little cinnamon if you want the flavor of Mexican Brownies. I would add 1/2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
