Ingredients

medium head
green cabbage, (7 to 8 cups)
cored and cut into 2-inch piecees
1
medium
onion,
thinly sliced

rib
celery,
finely diced

(14.5-ounce) cans
stewed tomatoes
1
(10.75-ounce) can
condensed tomato soup
1 1/2
tablespoons
bacon grease or butter
1
chicken bouillon cube,
crumbled
1
teaspoon
Italian seasoning
1
teaspoon
Worcestershire sauce
1/2
teaspoon
black pepper
1/4
teaspoon
celery seeds
1/4 to 1/2
teaspoon
crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions
Lightly spray a 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
Add all ingredients to the slow cooker. Stir to combine them some.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours. Open the slow cooker and stir halfway through.
Check for seasoning and add salt to taste.
Notes
For even cooking, stir the cabbage halfway through the cooking time.
To make this dish vegetarian, use a vegetable bouillon cube.
