Ingredients
1large or 2 mediumGranny Smith Apples
1(8-count) tubecrescent roll dough
6tablespoonssalted butter
1cupwater
β cupsugar
β cuppacked brown sugar
ΒΌcupFireball whiskey
2tablespoonsgranulated sugar
1teaspoonground cinnamon
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray a baking dish with cooking spray.I use a 9-inch square or 7x11-inch baking dish.
Peel the apple and cut into 8 slices. Separate crescent dough into 8 triangles. Wrap a piece of crescent dough around each apple slice and place in prepared baking dish.
Combine butter, water, granulated sugar and brown sugar in a saucepan. Heat and stir until sugar is dissolved.Stir in the Fireball and pour over crescent rolls.
Combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on top.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
