unsalted butter, melted and cooled

applesauce

Glaze

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line 2 rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper.
Whisk together the first 6 ingredients in a large bowl.
In a medium bowl, whisk together brown sugar, melted butter, applesauce, and egg.
Add butter mixture to flour mixture and stir just until combined.
Stir in chopped apple, toffee bits, and walnuts.
Measure out 1 1/2 tablespoons batter for each cookie and place on prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes. Let cool 5 minutes and then remove to wire rack to cool completely.
In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar and heavy cream. Drizzle over cooled cookies.
