Cream Cheese Bacon Green Bean Casserole is maybe the most flavorful green bean casserole ever. In addition to bacon and cream cheese, it's flavored with dry onion soup mix plus a French-fried onion and ritz cracker topping.
Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add green beans and cook 3 to 5 minutes. Drain and set aside.
Meanwhile, cook bacon until crispy in a large nonstick skillet. Remove and set aside.Wipe skillet clean. (Save bacon grease for another use.) Add condensed soup, onion soup mix, and milk to skillet and stir until smooth.Set over medium-low heat. When mixture simmers, turn heat to low and add cream cheese. Stir until melted and transfer mixture to a large bowl.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
Crumble the bacon and add it to the large bowl.Add green beans to the large bowl.Transfer mixture to prepared baking dish.
In a medium bowl, stir together French-Fried onions, cracker crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle over green bean mixture.
Bake for 15 minutes or until hot throughout.
