Ingredients

packed light brown sugar

teaspoon
baking powder
½
teaspoon
salt

unsalted butter,
melted and cooled
¼
cup
bourbon
1
teaspoon
vanilla extract

eggs,
room temperature

all-purpose flour
1⅓
cup
chopped pecans,
divided
2/3
cup
toffee bits
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, whisk together brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Gradually whisk in butter.
Whisk in bourbon and vanilla.
Whisk in eggs.
Stir in flour just until mixed in.
Stir in 1 cup of chopped pecans and the toffee bits.
Transfer batter to prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly. Sprinkle remaining pecans on top.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
Let cool complately before cutting into squares.
