Ingredients
1poundground beef
1poundmild or hot Italian sausage
1mediumonion,diced
2garlic cloves,minced
1tablespoontomato paste
1(14-ounce) canpetite diced tomatoes,undrained
1(24-ounce) jarpasta sauce
2teaspoonsItalian seasoning
1/2teaspooncrushed red pepper flakes,optional
1/2teaspoonsalt
1/2teapsoonpepper
8ouncesuncooked,spaghetti,broken in thirds
1/3cupgrated Parmesan cheese
1cupshredded mozarella cheese
1cupshredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Place the ground beef, sausage, and onion in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Brown and crumble the meat. Drain off grease.
Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add tomato paste, diced tomatoes, pasta sauce, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Simmer for a minute or two.
Transfer half the sauce to a lightly greased 6-quart slow cooker.
Add the broken spaghetti. Top with remaining sauce.
Sprinkle on the cheese. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 hours.
