Ingredients

cups
peeled and sliced apples,
Granny Smith work well
3/4
cup
packed brown sugar
1/2
cup
all-purpose flour
1/2
cup
old-fashioned oats
1
(3.5-ounce)
package cook-and-serve butterscotch pudding,
just use the dry mix, do NOT prepare pudding

teaspoon
ground cinnamon
1/4
teaspoon
nutmeg
1/4
teaspoon
salt
1/2
cup
cold butter,
cubed
vanilla ice cream for serving
Instructions
Place apples in a greased
3 to 4-quart slow cooker
.
In a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, oats, pudding mix, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Cut butter into the mixture using a pastry blender or your fingers.
Sprinkle mixture over apples.
Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
