Ingredients
3largecarrots,peeled and cut into 2-inch pieces
1mediumyellow onion,quartered
8mediumred potatoes,cut in half
1(4-pound)corned beef brisket with spice packet
1(14-ounce) canbeef broth
2cupswater
1cupbeer
1tablespoonpacked brown sugar
1/2a medium cabbage,coarsely chopped
Instructions
Place carrots, onion, and potatoes in a 6-quart slow cooker. Place corned beef on top.
Add broth, water, beer, and brown sugar. Sprinkle the packet of seasoning on the corned beef.
Cover and cook on LOW for 8 hours.
Remove the potatoes and carrots and add the cabbage. Cover and cook on LOW for 1 more hour.
