Glazed Strawberry Fritters

These Glazed Strawberry Fritters have a crunchy, crispy outside covered in glaze with lots of chunks of fresh strawberry. They are hands down one of the most delicious ways to eat fresh strawberries.

The batter has some sweetness but most of the sweetness comes from the super sweet powdered sugar glaze and you can put a little or a lot of glaze on the fritters depending on how sweet you want them to be.  🙂

A large amount of baking powder in the batter makes these fritters fry up super light.

RECIPE TIPS:

Dice the strawberries and let them sit on paper towels for a good 15-20 minutes to soak up excess moisture. No one wants soggy fritters.  🙂

You also want to make the glaze nice and thick so that it won’t make the fritters soggy.

Strawberry Fritters are best eaten as soon after frying as possible. Preferably while they are still warm.

Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated in an air fryer or toaster oven.

Glazed Strawberry Fritters make a wonderful Spring/Summer breakfast or dessert.

  1. By far the best fritter I’ve ever had !! I will definitely be using your recipe to make apple and blueberry ones I do from now on !

These look so tasty!! Fritters are so delicious! My husband is obsessed with the apple fritters that a local farm bakes up and sells during their apple festival in the fall. I think these would be just perfect to hold him over for the next few months!

  3. I can’t get over how great these look! That texture is awesome! I’ve never made fritters before. I think I need to change that.

  4. Where have these been all my life?! I love apple fritters, but I’ve never thought to make a strawberry version. These look incredible, Christin!
